The Deal Behind the IPO

According to the preliminary prospectus, Agnico Eagle is already a Cadillac shareholder and signed a royalty deal in 2023. Franco-Nevada Corp., with its co-founder Pierre Lassonde serving as Cadillac's chairman, likewise entered into a royalty agreement at that time.

The company's shares are anticipated to begin trading on the TSX with the symbol CADY.

The Kerr-Addison mine has a long history of gold production, with more than 10 million ounces extracted over its operational life. Cadillac's exploration strategy focuses on extending that legacy through modern drilling and resource definition. Flow-through shares, which allow investors to deduct exploration expenses from taxable income, have become a standard financing tool for Canadian juniors, helping to reduce the cost of early-stage work. The participation of established royalty firms and major producers like Agnico Eagle further validates the project's geological potential and the strength of Cadillac's management team.

The Abitibi Greenstone Belt, straddling Ontario and Quebec, has produced over 200 million ounces of gold historically, making it one of the world's most prolific gold districts.
