Lyft bundles DoorDash into new loyalty plan to counter Uber One

Published Nov 5, 2026
Share:
Summary:
  • Lyft rolled out Lyft Go With DashPass, a loyalty plan that pairs a DoorDash membership with 8% back as credits you can use on future Lyft rides or DoorDash orders.
  • It runs $9.99 monthly or $96 for the year, replaces the similarly priced Lyft Pink, and current Pink members will shift over automatically at no extra cost.
  • A $199-per-year Lyft Pink All Access tier keeps the bike and scooter perks, and a new $4.99 Lyft Go Core plan returns 5% in ride credits.

What Lyft announced

On Thursday, Lyft introduced Lyft Go With DashPass, a subscription that combines DoorDash's membership with Lyft rewards. Members earn 8% back in credits redeemable on later Lyft trips or DoorDash purchases. The plan is priced at $9.99 per month or $96 annually, takes the place of the prior Lyft Pink at a comparable price, and existing Pink subscribers will be moved to the new plan at no charge.

What you get - and what you do not

The new Lyft Go tier excludes free bike and scooter usage on networks run by Lyft, including New York's Citi Bike program. Those micromobility benefits remain in Lyft Pink All Access, which stays a $199-a-year offering and is the only plan with complimentary unlocks and other bike and scooter extras. Lyft also added a budget option, Lyft Go Core, at $4.99 per month that returns 5% in credits on rides.

The competitive angle

Lyft and DoorDash have been partnering since 2024 on cross-promotions, and this move tightens that alignment. Uber has leaned hard on subscriptions as a growth engine: it reported 55 million Uber One members, who account for more than half of total gross bookings, according to remarks during Wednesday's earnings. Uber One is also $9.99 per month, offers 5% back on rides as Uber credits, and includes zero delivery fee plus discounts on orders. Because Lyft does not run a food delivery business, bundling a DoorDash membership with delivery fees waived makes Lyft's package look more like Uber One and could help Lyft pull in more riders.

Smart investors welcome new tools that can quietly sharpen their decision making. We're hosting our first ever investor livestream on 11/17 to show you how to use ChatGPT and Claude to invest like a pro, hosted by Briefs Finance CEO Jaspreet Singh. Save your seat.

Portfolio view

In plain English: Lyft is upgrading its loyalty economics to close the gap with Uber's subscription machine, while carving out bikes and scooters as a premium add-on. The key numbers for investors are the 8% credit back on the main plan, the cheaper $4.99 Core option, and the preserved $199 All Access tier - a lineup aimed at nudging more riders into recurring revenue. Watch for subscriber uptake and any signs of increased ride frequency as leading indicators for Lyft's top line.

Small advantages from better information and tools can add up over time. On 11/17, our CEO Jaspreet Singh goes live for our first ever investor livestream on how to use ChatGPT and Claude to invest like a pro. Register to join him.
