What is on offer
On Friday, the Zug, Switzerland-based company submitted its paperwork to trade on the NYSE with ticker VVVV. The deal spans 9.524 million shares with a price range of $21 to $24, and underwriters can place as many as 1.43 million additional founder-held shares if demand warrants. At the high end, the share count in the filing implies a market capitalization near $4.4 billion. Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and JPMorgan Chase & Co. are running the books.
The investor roster already includes Apollo Global Management Inc. and OrbiMed Advisors, alongside Cerebro Equity and Heartland Dental, which is backed by KKR & Co.
The business case
The pitch centers on a one-visit treatment for early tooth decay that avoids drilling. The Curodont line, rolled out commercially in the US in 2024, has reached more than 20,000 dental practices, with Curodont Repair Fluoride Plus contributing the bulk of sales. The products move through enamel so minerals in a patient's saliva can rebuild the tooth from the inside, and the approach can work well for cavities in children and as an alternative to watching small lesions get bigger.
Distribution will remain through partners, including Henry Schein as the exclusive US channel, and there are no current plans to sell directly to consumers.

Financials, control, and the IPO backdrop
In the half-year through June 30, 2026, revenue reached $28.6 million with a net loss of $27.8 million, compared with $9.1 million of revenue and a $32.1 million net loss in the same stretch of 2025. After the listing, the founders plan to retain majority voting control through supervoting Class B shares. As they put it in a letter, the dual-class setup "is a reflection of how long we intend to stay in this fight, not an escape from accountability to you." The Abivardi sisters, both dentists, previously operated a clinic network in Switzerland before selling it and buying the intellectual property that anchors vVardis.
Sector context matters here too. Healthcare listings outside biotech and pharma have brought in $1.4 billion so far in 2026, close to $1.5 billion in the same period last year, according to Bloomberg data. The latest in that group was ambulance operator GMR Solutions Inc., which brought in $479 million through a downsized May offering. Bloomberg News also reported in June that vVardis was valued above $1 billion in an April round.
Why it matters for your portfolio
If this prices well, investors get another growth story in a niche of healthcare that sells into existing dental workflows rather than pursuing long drug timelines. The deal size, bank lineup, and an exclusive US distributor in Henry Schein point to a commercial push already underway, but the financials still show losses as the company scales. Watch the final pricing, any use of the overallotment shares from the founders, and how much voting power remains with the Class B stock once VVVV starts trading.
