However, the deal's enormous size lets AWS dedicate substantial resources to meet Recursive's specific requirements. Jason Bennett, AWS vice president for startups and venture capital, said the two companies are going to work together on infrastructure built specifically for Recursive's kind of AI. "Part of the agreement is that we're going to co-develop infrastructure purpose-built for these types of company," Bennett said.
Such massive cloud commitments are becoming increasingly common among AI startups racing toward artificial general intelligence.
