What Revolut is launching
The London-based fintech said on Monday it has incorporated Revolut Ventures, created with asset-management platform Carne Group alongside Revolut Securities Europe UAB. The goal is to let retail clients build positions in non-listed companies within the Revolut app at a time when firms, Revolut included, are taking longer to go public.
How the fund will operate
Revolut Ventures is expected to go live in 2027, structured as a European Long-Term Investment Fund. Carne will operate the fund and act as the alternative investment fund manager, while Revolut will be the delegated investment manager. Alter Domus will handle fund administration, and BNY will serve as custodian and depositary.
Why this move and why now
"Value creation happens long before an IPO," said Rolandas Juteika, who oversees wealth and trading for Revolut in the European Economic Area. He added, "We're aiming to dismantle one of the final barriers in wealth management: retail investor exclusion from non-listed companies." The move comes after a July introduction of additional private-market offerings for customers in EEA territories, among them France and Spain.

The bottom line for your portfolio
Revolut is pushing deeper into fee-heavy lines like wealth management and payments to balance market swings. Fee-based income already dominated in 2025, making up 76% of sales, though the wealth unit's growth decelerated in the prior year after a sharp jump in 2024. Access to private tech deals inside a mainstream app shows where the company thinks its next leg of fee growth can come from. If you track fintech monetization, that mix matters.
