What is launching and when
Webull said Tuesday it will begin offering perpetual futures to U.S. clients in November via a tie-up with Kalshi, kicking off with Bitcoin and other digital assets. The company expects to broaden the roster by the end of the year.
How trading will work
Perpetual futures are derivatives without a fixed expiration, so traders can keep positions open without rolling contracts. Webull's perps are slated to be listed on KalshiEX LLC - an exchange under the supervision of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission - with clearing performed by Kalshi Klear LLC, which operates as a clearinghouse regulated by the CFTC. Once available, customers can access the product through their existing Webull Futures account.
Why now
Interest in crypto derivatives in the U.S. has climbed since the CFTC authorized the country's first perpetual futures earlier this year for Coinbase and for Kalshi. As Webull US CEO Anthony Denier said, "Perpetual futures have become a significant part of global derivatives markets, with annual volume reaching more than $90 trillion in 2025."

What it means for your portfolio
A perps venue inside a familiar brokerage workflow could make hedging or expressing crypto views simpler. Webull also intends to roll out offerings outside of cryptocurrency, pending regulatory review and exchange listing approvals, potentially broadening the toolkit if and when those hurdles are cleared.
