Autokiniton US Holdings, an automotive parts maker, halted its amend and extend effort, said a person with knowledge who asked not to be named discussing private information. The deal in question covered about $1.05 billion.

Before tapping the brakes, the KPS Capital Partners backed company moved to make the deal more appealing. It shortened the requested maturity push to 2030, moved the original issue discount up to 97.5 cents on the dollar, indicated pricing 4.75 percentage points over the benchmark at the wide end of early talks, and accepted documentation tweaks that enhanced lender protections.
