Quick rundown
Tradr said it will wind down both SK Hynix-linked leveraged products around Nov. 12, only months after they began trading on July 28. One fund tried to deliver double the daily performance of the chipmaker's American depositary receipts, and the other sought the inverse of the ADRs' daily change.
Performance and flows
Since the July 28 debut, the Tradr 2X Long SK Hynix Daily ETF has declined more than 5% and the short fund has fallen 42%. Over the same period, SK Hynix's ADRs gained about 5%, while the company's Seoul-listed shares are down 56% from their record high. Current assets across the two Tradr funds sit at around $1.3 million, down by over 60% from their highs.
