What Grynkewich told reporters
Speaking in Riga on Friday, General Alexus Grynkewich said the US continues to provide Ukraine with Patriot air-defense missiles and with weapon bundles financed by European partners. "Everything has been delivered, in fact, we just had the delivery within the last week," he said, adding he would not detail the quantities or types and that shipments have been ongoing.
He also emphasized, "nothing that's been put in the PURL package, that has been paid for by European allies, has been delayed." On third-country transfers, he added, "Every single third-party transfer that has been requested of the U.S. government has been approved." Work is already underway on future PURL packages, he said.
How PURL fits into the flow
PURL, short for Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List, is a NATO-led program under which the US buys weapons that are paid for by other members of the alliance. Grynkewich's point was twofold: the recent delivery shows the pipeline is active, and items in these Europe-funded packages have not been held up.
He said planners are putting together the contents of future PURL tranches, signaling the mechanism remains in use.

The broader push and why markets care
Zelenskyy this week asked Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to sign agreements to move Patriot missiles held by other countries to Kyiv, arguing Ukraine needs US-made interceptors to shield energy and civilian infrastructure from intensifying Russian ballistic strikes. At the same time, officials are trying to defuse a spat between Zelenskyy and President Donald Trump about permitting certain Russian diesel to reach global markets to push prices down.
Talks among the US, Ukraine, and Russia are slated to resume in the United Arab Emirates next month. For defense contractors and energy names, that mix of steady deliveries and renewed diplomacy can sway expectations for orders, timelines and commodity flows.
