Apple states the M5 Pro delivers an 8.5x speed boost for AI prompt processing compared to older Pro Mac Mini models. Large language models, or LLMs, are the technology behind tools like ChatGPT, and they normally need a lot of computing muscle.
The M5 Ultra is a different story entirely. Apple calls it its most powerful chip, and the headline feature is what happens when you link multiple Mac Studios together.
