One of the people said ICR Capital is serving as a corporate adviser to Stratolaunch. Spokespeople for Stratolaunch, Cerberus, Elliott, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup and ICR would not comment. Elliott took a stake in January in a deal intended to help expand the company's hypersonic production and flight capacity.
Company assets and background
Per the company's website, Stratolaunch operates the only reusable platform for hypersonic flight testing in the US, and runs manufacturing and test sites in California's Mojave Desert. In July, the company reported it had topped 10 hypersonic missions with the fully autonomous, reusable Talon-A aircraft. Cerberus acquired Stratolaunch after the death of former owner Paul Allen, the Microsoft Corp. co-founder.
