Deal details
Wonderful said Wednesday it secured $550 million in new funding that pegs the company's value at $5 billion. The round was spearheaded by Insight Partners, alongside Salesforce Inc., Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards, and Bessemer Venture Partners. The company noted its valuation is now more than twice what it was six months ago, up from $2 billion at its March raise.
What Wonderful actually does
Chief Executive Officer Bar Winkler said customers use Wonderful's software to weave AI into their existing systems. The company initially focused on AI customer support agents, then widened its scope to more complex use cases and now describes its platform as an "AI operating system."
How the platform is being used
Wonderful says its tools can automate business processes, assist clients in deploying AI applications, and orchestrate AI agents operating across different functions. The company has also added "forward-deployed engineers," partnering directly with customers to roll out the technology.

Why investors are leaning in
"Wonderful is pursuing one of the largest opportunities in enterprise AI," said Insight Partners Managing Director Jeff Horing. "Many companies are applying AI to individual departments or use cases. Wonderful is building the operating layer that allows enterprises to scale AI across the entire organization." For everyday readers, the takeaway is that software stitching AI across a whole company is getting real attention - and with a fresh war chest, Wonderful is pushing hard to be the one enterprises pick.
